The amount of space was wonderful. The bedding was comfortable and the location was fabulous. The contacts at the property were lovely and helpful.

Nothing I didn’t like.

Ideal location for the local area. Just a few minutes walk to town yet on a really quiet street. Everything provided that we could need... no kitchen (as advised) but a kettle, fridge & microwave so not a problem. Especially appreciated the electric blanket as it did turn chilly on a couple of nights. Loved the Welsh Cakes too!

Location was wonderful. The wetroom was large with purposeful supplies. Plentiful towels. The tea & coffee making amenities were excellent and the milk in the fridge and packet of Welshcakes were much appreciated on arrival.

An improvement would have been a microwave and / or a toaster in order to have a leisurely breakfast before heading out for the day. Having to purchase all meals out every day was very costly. It wasn’t ideal that we could not park ‘on site’ but the parking disc was greatly appreciated and the car was only parked a short distance away in a car park down the road a little way.

The Holt is excellently located just 60 seconds from the banks of the delightful Dee! Apart from a lack of kitchen (which is clearly advertised and comes as no surprise) it has everything for a very comfortable stay; including a fridge, which was very handy. Llangollen is a beautiful and understandably popular town, which makes The Holt a very competitively priced option for a few days; which should be time enough to appreciate this gorgeous part of Britain. To wit, Kristen (the lovely host) provides a wide range of information on local attractions - particularly the enchanting Plas Newydd.
