The coach house was an amazing place to stay, Opened the electric gates and drove in to a lovely courtyard and a beautiful looking property. We opened the front door and were presented with a beautiful kitchen/diner and a lovely welcome gift. The rest of the property continued to wow us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We did have one small issue but this was easily resolved and we were also supplied with a fan for the hot weather that we encountered. The property itself is located in a quiet area and is only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Matlock and only 2 minutes away from a shop called the Lost Cauldron which my wife and daughter love. We will definitely be staying here again

Beautifully converted old Coach House, great location in Old Matlock 5 mins walk from the town centre, parks, shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants and starting points for great walks

"Matlock green is very enjoyable the Old Coach house comfortable and quiet"

Very comfortable bedrooms, sitting room. Nice kitchen. Location good for walking into the town. A lovely Victorian Park. Nice places to eat.

The very very narrow lane leading up to a very narrow entrance. The turntable for turning the car round. Hard to get all 4 wheels on. I drive a Mini countryman so not a huge car.

"Elegant house stay for a special occasion, definitely recommend"

Beautifully decorated with great attention to detail in every room. The accommodation has everything a family could need for short stay and a lovely master bedroom. There is also a great triple bunk bed for the kids! Great site seeing and attractions nearby as well, recommend Heights of Abraham and Chatsworth House.

"Delightful cottage"

The Coach House was just as represented in the photos and information. A delightful holiday cottage in an excellent location. Handy for the shops, buses and trains. Everything we needed was there and a lovely outdoor seating area to enjoy relaxing after a busy day sightseeing with a cuppa and/or a glass of wine! It was very clean and the beds very comfy, we slept well.
