Sea Breeze Lodge

The stay was exceptional. The lodge was spotless, beautifully maintained, and set in a stunning location. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, with tasteful décor and a lovely ambience throughout.

It was very nice to be greeted & welcomed by the host. The Lodge is furnished and decorated to a high standard. The host was on hand to answer any questions or concerns and gave a detailed description of the local facilities, attractions and restaurants. Would definitely recommend to others to stay here.

Nothing, other than coming home.

Very cosy, modern, amazing view, owner was very friendly and helped me right away when I needed something.

Bathroom smelled a bit like damp, even with window open and fan on.

This was a lovely property which was well equipped it’s location was great for what we were looking for. The bed was comfortable and the rooms beautifully decorated. The basket in the kitchen area was a nice touch with a bottle of water and a biscuit to share. There was a great selection of several different cereal, some marmalade and jam. A jar with well stocked tea coffee and sugar and the milk in the fridge was a great welcome being a bank holiday weekend and after a long drive. Great and friendly communication from the hosts with some helpful information. Was a lovely surprise to see a pheasant outside in the morning too!

A hand towel as well as the 2 provided towels in the bathroom would have been nice but not a problem. The panelling in the lounge area, whilst aesthetically pleasing looking at it directly, was very visually distracting whilst trying to watch tv during the afternoon and morning in day light but was not an issue in the dark, this could have been just us and might not be for others. The feather quilt was an issue with being allergic and not realising this until being woken half way through the night with symptoms which was then too late, luckily I always keep medication with me. We had our own pillows for this reason so not sure, didn’t check ones supplied were feather or hypoallergenic. Anyone else staying with allergies I’d recommend checking with the host if alternatives are available or bringing your own to be sure.

The place was very clean and done to a very high standard.We met the lady who owned the place and she was absolutely lovely and helpful and friendly.We also met her dog who was lovely too..We will be booking again!!.
