"Lovely little schoolhouse"

The schoolhouse is incredibly adorable!! There were so many thoughtful details that went into designing this space. We loved our 3 day stay there, and wish we could have stayed longer. It also had all the amenities you could wish for and more. It was just the two of us and our baby so we didn’t use any of the other beds, but it could have easily fit several other people! We also liked that it was a close walk to the historic district (15 mins) and 5 minute walk to Fish Camp, and adorable beachside breakfast spot! We look forward to staying here again on our next trip back to St. Augustine!

We thought it was strange that there was a camera security device on the living room table but we just turned it facing the wall while we were there. The 10am check out also is so early, never stayed anywhere with check out before 11 am.

location was great short walk to town, and the place was very clean! I'd stay again just not with 4 adults.

The listing states it can accommodate up to 7 adults. I wouldn’t recommend it for more than 2 adults, mainly because the bunk beds are quite cramped. I usually don’t mind bunk beds, but the spacing between them is very tight, making them feel claustrophobic—it's better suited for kids than adults. The main bedroom was lovely, but the additional beds are definitely more appropriate for children. Maybe a sofa bed in the living room would be better accommodating, or the beds by the bathroom removing the top bunk.

We loved the schoolhouse, the planning of space was incredible. It was cozy and comfortable. The history that was peppered around the house was extra special. Don't hesitate, stay here! We loved it and would stay here again!
