Isalo Rock Lodge

De kamer was mooi schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Tijdens het diner werd de klamboe los gemaakt en de kamer werd overdag schoongemaakt. Vanuit de kamer en het bad heb je een mooi uitzicht.

In de nacht werden we wakker van het geluid van een muis op onze kamer en het zou prettiger zijn als er op de kamer nog een extra stoel zou staan. Het opladen van de powerbank was niet mogelijk en op de kamer was geen wifi

The location is spectacular, pretty much inside the Isalo National Park. The facility is great, with great amenities. Food was good. Staff very helpful!

The main reason why it gets a 7/10 is because the bed was so uncomfortable. The mattress was hard a a rock. For a facility of this caliber the bed should be beyond comfortable.

This place is magnificent. The view from the room was the best view we had. Every night they prepared our klamboe for the night and the rooms were so clean. Staff was super kind. The food was delicious.

We bookes a massage at 6h30pm. Arriving there they claimed we changed it to 7pm (because they made a double booking) But it was not true.

- Wlan funktionierte nicht oder kaum - Boden im Zimmer schhmutzig (barfuss = braune Füsse) - Wasserhahnen sehr unpraktisch installiert

its such a beautiful hotel I only spent 9 hours there due to flight cancellation I wish I could stay longer

My sister and I arrived late (maybe 10 PM) after our car broke down. Most of the staff had left for the day. We were shown to our room which had one king bed which wasn't what we ordered. We tried to explain to the worker we wanted two beds. He didn't speak much English but was able to get a hold of the owner who was still on site and he upgraded us to the superior room with two beds for free, which was very nice. The rooms are much more comfortable than most hotels in Madagascar. The property is gorgeous, and the food was excellent. We enjoyed wandering the grounds of the property after a day of exploring Isalo National Park.

Very expensive by Malagasy standards.
