Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge

Breakfast was not up to my standard, but it is university food after all.

The location was great, room was a bit basic but was clean, functional and better than expected. Breakfast was fantastic.

Nothing.

Comfortable bed in a well appointed room. Welcoming porter. Outstanding location.

My only negative ...was not advised that the room was up three flights of stairs. With two knee and one hip replacement, i was thanking god I had only one overnight bag to haul up 44 stairs.

Classic setting, beautiful college

Very little to complain about - kettle just about stretched to plug point - really minor point. Also toiletries not replenished for 2nd. Not a problem now that I know.

It was central and as expected for a college stay. It is quaint in its surroundings and cheaper than staying in a hotel in Cambridge and a nice breakfast was included. Basic but clean and has everything required for an overnight stay. Would stay again.

Very basic toiletries are provided but there was no soap in the toilet which I think must have just been forgotten. I had some shower gel with me so that was ok.
