Tranquility it was amazing

Cosy and comfortable hut and outdoor area. We loved the design and "personality" of the hut and the area surrounding the pond. The hut captures sentimental feeling yet providing practical space for personal care, cooking, relaxing and sleeping. Great decking area with swing chair, furniture and barbeque. The hosts were lovely and provided a timely update about check in and out process. Highly recommended for couples' blissful getaway.

Very minor, the toilet seat needs tightening up.

We had the most wonderful stay in the shepherd's hut at Rusty Duck Retreat. The location is incredibly scenic, the pond is lovely and picturesque. The hut itself was stunning - charming, cosy, and impeccably clean. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make our stay perfect. We also adored their gorgeous dog Bella and the friendly cat, who added such a lovely touch to our visit. Everything was perfect. We’d happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, memorable getaway.

Great location, lovely host, stunning views

Beautiful little hut with everything you could need for a comfortable short stay. We particularly liked the pond-we had ducks and ducklings visit one morning! We did not meet the owners but they were at the end of the phone should we have had any issues (which we didnt). We also liked meeting the dog Bella who had been mentioned numerous times in the reviews so that was a treat. Quite private with lovely outdoor space. We would stay again.

Very nice private space with access to beautiful walks in Meon Valley . Property had everything that you could ask for and more.

There was nothing I did not like

It was a lovely property, beautiful scenery and everything we needed was there. It was the most beautiful place to stay, the dog was also absolutely lovely and so friendly!
