The Hill Ungasan

There was a nice ambience, i didn’t swim but the pool looked like it was okay. There was a lot of restaurants and stores around. Room was small but it was enough if you are a solo traveller.

While i’m not sure if it was the hotels fault, but i had a weird experience of having my door knocked on by 3 men. One saying he was “with the police”, then asking me questions such as “are you alone”, “why are you in indonesia”, all while they were trying to look in my room. I was a young woman travelling solo at the time so it was frightening. I had to leave the next morning. Again, not necessarily the hotels fault but that shouldn’t be happening.

Good value compared to other places in the area. Seating area by the pool is nice and relaxing.

The damp smell in the room bothered me. Not great air con. Cold showers.

This property is located at a strategic location on Ungasan main road. You can walk all the way to Jimbaran if you are a famous hiker like me. Or you can go the other way around to Dreamland beach (of course you need to rent a motorbike for that). The property is quiet, spacious, and very decent. The staff are my friends now.

Wi-Fi could have been better.

Comfy beds, good price and nice local Mexican.

Slightly further away than we thought, but just had to grab everywhere. The staff seem to all smoke and chill by the pool in the evenings playing videos out loud, which makes the rooms smelly...

Everything was fine
