LILA Lake Isle Luxury Aparthotel

The student apartments and surrounding facilities are well kept and clean. The view of Lough Gill is amazing. There is EV charging facilities on site as well as a little shop.

The apartments aren’t sound proof so a lot of noise may occur depending on surrounding occupants. This cannot be avoided but is good to know in advance

Great location to the wedding venue we needed to attend. Beautiful view. Ensuite rooms. Spacious kitchen/living area

Location was great with smooth check in and check out, however access had more stairs than expected but overall lovely location

The apartment was spotless however the beds didn't have mattress protectors and bed linen was older and poor quality, needs upgrading to better quality as it was the only minus that we encountered.

Absolutely perfect location for a walking trip... beautiful lake and hill walks right on your doorstep. Plenty of parking facilities on site.

Not the place to go if you want a good night's sleep... We were in a 3 bed apartment and while it was great to have a private bathroom each there was no soundproofing... every time anyone turned a tap on... even the cold water one...the noise from the boiler/pump... which was located right between 2 of the bedrooms... was like a tractor going through the place. None of our party had a decent night's sleep throughout our stay. The quilts and pillows felt very dated and could do with being renewed. For a self catering apartment, I would have expected some very basic things to have been in the cupboard...salt, pepper, cooking oil... noone brings these from scratch ...there was a hospitality tray with individual sachets of coffee, sugar and a few biscuits but it would have been much better to have had the very basic things to be able to start cooking.

Apartamento con habitaciones amplias y con baño individual. Camas muy cómodas, de buen tamaño. Salón-cocina con unas hermosas vistas al lago. Todo bien conservado y limpio. Cocina con equipamiento correcto sobre todo para hacer desayunos (tostador, kettle). Tiene una pequeña nevera y lavavajillas. Muy amable la chica que nos recibió y buena comunicación a través de Booking. Está ubicado en un lugar apartado junto al lago, muy bonito y con la naturaleza al lado. Es imprescindible ir en coche, aunque el aparcamiento es muy cómodo en la misma puerta.

Aunque tuvimos un pequeño problema con uno de los grifos y la conexión de internet, hubo buena comunicación con el establecimiento.

Location and views were brilliant. Having a whole flat with ensuites in each room was great. Staff were welcoming and good info printed on arrival. Flat was cosy but great windows to open and get fresh air in. Very quiet and tranquil location.

Dishwasher wasn't turned on (electricity and water) but we managed to sort that out. Every time water was used anywhere a noisy electric water pump started even for people in other flats. Could have done with more/bigger pans for a family of four. Elements of the flat did look a little tired (shower doors, sofas, table) None of this was a massive problem but it does stop the place from being 'luxury' from our perspective.
