Good comfortable beds . Nice well keep garden if u had children in u party it is secure .. the option of having a hot tub . Close to the beach .

House looks like it's in need of a make over . Some rooms were ok no sure if they have started or are in the middle if it . Bathroom very poor holes in walls were things have been and just painted over skirting board at door black holes. Across sink paint all flaking looks very bad. . Radiator in bathroom did not heat up when heating on . Radiator in hall did not work. . House very cold could just not get it warmed I know its winter time but never stayed in a house a cold . We did keep hits the boost button. Cupboard in living room were heating was very messy if thay were having work done no one cleaned up before we arrived . On booking the property u were told about keeping the house clean and tidy which we did but to do so u need the things to keep it tidy . Could not find brush to do floor did find hoover . No dish clothes or sponges for dishes . Did find drying cloths . . Happy to keep to house rules if everything is there .

Hot tub was great, rooms clean and beds comfortable

Extremely clean, warm, beautifully decorated throughout, comfortable beds! Bedrooms cosy clean, wifi, smart TVs, shower was exceptional, large clean garden with kids toys and a hot tub!

Faultless everything was great

Myself and 3 friends booked this property as a getaway between Christmas and new year. Unfortunately I would not be able to recommend it. The property was clean, however other aspects of the stay were very disappointing. I suppose overall we felt very unwelcome. It was perhaps clear the hosts had had negative experiences in the past with damage to the property or parties but their caution with regard to this happening again has now led to an atmosphere where guests feel very unwelcome. The night before our stay we received a message asking for copies of IDs and addresses to be sent directly to the host. In addition we were asked for a deposit of £50 pp to be paid into a business bank account not under booking.com control. At this point it became clear that we has mistakenly booked for 2 people instead of 4. Completely our error but we were asked for another £100 even though we had rented the whole property and when looking for other dates the price was not dependent on occupants. We were then asked for another £50 to use the hot tub. When we tried to query this and have a discussion with the host we couldn’t get through despite phoning multiple times. In the end we spent 60 minutes on the phone to booking.com on the way up to our holiday to see if they could contact the host. All of this was extremely stressful. As it was so last minute we felt we had no option but to pay the additional money. The deposit portion was refunded following additional communication with the host a couple of days later. The property was very cold however there was a message warning re irresponsible use of the heating which was again quite unwelcoming. A boost function was available but only worked for one hour at a time. The address of the property is available before booking and I would suggest you check this before booking. The host did very kindly make sure we arrived at the property and were able to gain access.

When we saw this place on booking.com we thought it looked absolutely amazing, hence why booked it. However, when drove to it, I actually thought it couldn't possibly be this area. It was booked for a 50th birthday and so upsetting for all. It is located in the worst area in Portrush, a run-down council estate with boarded up houses and houses with lots of weeds growing out of the gutters. Very disappointing tbh! When entered properly, it was freezing and couldn't get heating on as the owners had taken all the nozzles off radiators. They sent a maintenance man, and he had to turn all radiators on with a spanner he said they had been turned off with a spanner. I had requested hot tub, and when I went to get into it, it was cold. I hadn't yet paid the 50 extra but had requested it to be ready, which was another disappointment. Upstairs is lovely. I can't take that away from them. But the living room was too small for 6 people. 3 of us couldn't even see the tv. Heating kept on going off after 1 hour, so the house never really got heated up properly. As id my elderly parents with me and they were freezing. We all decided to find somewhere else to stay. Thankfully, it was in a lovely area huge big house with 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms , a dining room, 2 reception rooms, and huge gardens. Costs less than this house. We got greeted by the host too, and there was a welcome pack left, even a bottle of wine. I have since requested a refund for at least one night as we didn't stay the second night. I've just had an email from booking.com, and the property owner lied and said we stayed the full duration 😳. This house should not be advertised on here. If in a nicer area, yes, especially at the cost. I have stayed in so many beautiful properties all over Northern Ireland, and never have I stayed in one costing as much as this, and it's in a run-down council estate.

Area worst ever! Place freezing! Chair in living room dirty! Mould in shower, toilet roll holder broke off! Only 2 wine glasses for 6 people! Completely over priced! Paint work not finished properly in bathroom. Rust on front of fridge! As I said I wouldn't have left any review if they had done the right thing and sent a refund for the 2nd night that we didn't stay. It was a hassle for us all to have to pack up and move to another property. Also pay for another night somewhere else, which we are so glad we done as at least good memories from that night 🙏
