Kinta Kan Hotel Cozumel

It's about a five block walk to the main plaza. More of a Hostel feel. Very reasonable price.

The photos are a bit optimistic. It's good value for what you pay, but pretty basic accommodations. With construction happening on an upper floor, it's a bit dusty and muddy. A solo traveler might not feel as secure here as a larger hotel. They offer a very basic continental breakfast- make it and clean up yourself.

It was walkable distance to the center, it was located in a quiet area. Breakfast was included.

The room was damp, the sheets on the bed were damp when we arrived and one of the bed sheets had to be changed by staff. There was a strange smell in the room and we had to use the air conditioning to circulate air and freshen up the room.

Clean room, A/C, quiet street, allow you to store luggage, hot water with good pressure.

The room was nice, location was great.

The pool was freezing and the grounds did not look as nice as the photos. Also breakfast is self service and you have to do your own washing up.

Breakfast was good.

Dirty, smelly. Super loud, we hab some piping runing under the floor, making noises all night.

It was fine. Just needed a place to sleep for the night. It was clean and the staff was nice.

The location

The rooms are pretty old and do not look at all like in the pictures. The breakfast is self service and pretty bad!

The hotel was very well located within an easy walk to many restaurants. The man in the reception area was pleasant and checked us in quickly. Our room was clean and had a small refrigerator which was nice. Breakfast in the morning was "serve yourself" but there was plenty to choose from. Good coffee.

The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The common areas and pool looked much nicer in the pictures online. I would not swim in the pool as it was. There area around the pool was unappealing.
