Great place to stay. Warm welcome, spacious rooms with good beds. Cosy atmosphere. Very quiet and nice gardens. Also good food for dinner and breakfast. Walking distance from KCMC

Much-needed rest after 10,000 km on Africa’s dustiest roads. From the very first moment, the team at Neneu Lodge was incredibly helpful. My initial room was a bit noisy, but they changed it immediately and without hesitation. Breakfast was delicious and generous — don’t miss the amazing spiced tea. Dinner was fantastic as well, and if you feel like exploring, there are local restaurants and fruit shops within walking distance. Special thanks to Winni, who was simply excellent, and to Mr. Walter, who truly masters the art of hospitality. A great experience overall — highly recommended.

I fought with the hot shower a little bit here and there because it had difficulty working. Also the wifi is not the strongest, but honestly, who cares.

The lodge has a beautiful view of Kili when the clouds are away. The gardens are very beautiful! I took some time relaxing on the hammocks. The breakfast was also very good especially the fresh fruit. I came as a solo traveler and Walter was incredibly helpful in helping me get a taxi and thinking of things to do in the area. This lodge really feels like home!

Everything was wonderful

Decent room size, in leafy tranquil surroundings, helpful staff (Walter) that went out of their way to show us around Moshi markets in a Bajaj (Tuktuk). Good breakfast with fruits, omlette, and chapati. Water pressure is better when the pump is turned on. Not walking distance to Moshi town but Walter called us a Bajaj whenever you need to go.

The host, Walter, is extremely organised and on top of everything. He’s sent us a message a few days before our stay to check if we would need any transport to the accommodation or any requests. Upon our arrival he’s given us tips and helped us with our way around town. Great guy and thank you very much!!

The staff were friendly. Walter the manager is quite friendly and flexible

The hotel didn't have a variety of breakfast. It was the same all through. There was only one staff who was the gateman, the cook, the cleaner and everything. The rooms didn't have TV set nor a back up generator and the lights kept on going off. The fridge in the room wasn't working too

The staff was excellent, the lodge manager took very good care of us. Everything was well maintained and clean.

The staff here is SO intent on providing a positive experience. We met with a few challenges, but Walter and Doreen went above and beyond to ensure our challenges were resolved to our satisfaction.

The mosquito treatment for the room was done too closely to when we checked into the room. A bit more airing out would be appreciated. Also, breakfast the first day was just way too much food! :-)

They were incredibly hospitable. Walter, the hotel manager, is a great guy who really wants to make his guest feel at home.

Increase the water pressure. Other than that, everything was great.
