Unique Houseboat Experience I Central City Break

Everything was lovely on Tilly- had an amazing experience- thank you :-) we would definitely like to visit again in the future - beautiful, spacious, homely, unique, unforgettable stay :-) Jelle has been a lovely host :-) thanks again!

The boat is so unique and so close to York …everything you need is there

Unfortunately there is a smell of must as soon as you open the door , unfortunately it’s a smell I don’t like and couldn’t get out of my nose … had to wash all my clothes when I got home as everything smelled of must .. and the kitchen sink didn’t drain ..

What a novelty, lovely boat with everything you need at hand.Family loved it even though it was for 1 night. Parking was really easy and a 15 minute walk to York Theatre for pantomime. Really comfortable and after pantomime had a relaxing evening with a drink and a few photos. Would definitely recommend and maybe next year if it's available.

Heating controls were difficult to use as was the Alexa thing. Struggled to connect to it for music

We only stayed for 2 nights

Luxury accommodation, very well furnished and equipped. Good kitchen, great TV & Wifi. Easy access into York

Only slight issue lack of view of river, especially when wet. Maybe put easy chair in steering room or roof over outside seating area so can watch boats go by.
