The Nest

Mr Ritesh who was at the place and manages the homestay, came to the main road to pick us as the bus driver did not know the exact location and was not sure if the bus can go there. Mr Ritesh and another person came on two wheelers and took us to the place. Mr Ritesh is very helpful and cooperative. We had asked the bus driver who was with us in our tour of Puri Konark etc, to arrange for a cab for visiting Cuttack. He agreed for a price and then demanded more. When Mr Ritesh learnt about this, he immediately contacted another cab operator and arranged for not only the visit to Cuttack but also for the drop to airport on the following morning. He arranged plates and other utensils for lunch and dinner without asking or any expectations. Really nice person!

This place is shown as very close to the airport. However, the distance by road is almost 5 KM. When I booked, I saw the distance as 1 KM so I thought we could walk if required. However, that is the aerial distance, and not by road. Apart from this, no issues.

Very helpful staff, especially Manager Ritun Mohanty and his colleague Bubu Mohanty. Took all the efforts in making our stay a memorable one.

Room was too plain. Atleast a few paintings or photoframes could add some life to the room.
