Brinkley's River Village

To be honest it doesn’t look that nice from the outside but once in the room, the bedroom shower/toilet facilities were lovely. The bar onsite was handy & reasonably priced. Nice little market outside on the day we left but could’ve done without the very loud music at 7am as they were setting up.

Would’ve preferred to have a choice of places to eat but the takeaway fish & chips were really tasty.

The location was in a very quiet arear, and i also enjoyed the environment. It was a farm-like environment, enjoyed watching at little creature that was rooming around, the staff was quick to respond when you require something. Very friendly staff and always put on a smile. I liked the fact that, it was very easy to check-in even though we arrived very late, the host made it very easy for us. At times we get concerned when doing the booking, because you are not sure if you are not being scammed, the host called me immediately after i mad payment, that alone put in at ease, she explained everything from check-in and assured me that, they would be reachable anytime should we require assistance.

The only small issue was one of the bath towels that was left dirty, my recommendation would be for cleaners to double check everything before new guests, because it was not a good experience. but like i mentioned, we do make mistakes there and there, otherwise the overall experience about the cleanliness was satisfying.

De kamers binnen zijn echt heel mooi. Het personeel was super vriendelijk. In de ochtend was er een leuk rommelmarktje. Voor ons was de locatie perfect aangezien we Botlierskop gingen bezoeken.

De buitenkant van het hotel ziet er iets minder uit. Het lijkt alsof je in een (amerikaans) Motel aankomt. Echter is het binnen totaal iets anders.
