The Landerholm Bed and Breakfast

Place was spotless clean in the home, host was over the top trying to please and plenty of free street parking. Breakfast options were many and made to reqest. King size bed was nice and comfy. Again, host was over the top trying to please and meet all our needs.

Owner has 2 indoor small dogs of own and on top of that, "overnight" dog sits in the home. Cathy trys to keep them segregated but 3 dogs is a bit much. If your not a dog lover, be aware. Room is what appears to be a built out attic space (only one couple at a time) which is very nice, however access is gained by a very narrow stair case (typical older home,1914 stairs) with a shower/bath on 1st floor. At the bath area, there is a sitting/dressing room which is nice. Outside, curb appeal needs attention and manacuring. Bedroom on 2nd floor, bath 1st floor.

Our first BnB experience! Loved the quaint and clean accommodations. Our host was excellent and willing to go the extra mile. Plenty of choices of food and drink available at any time.

The Hostess / owner was exceptional. The accommodations were very comfortable and "homey"

Owner was very nice. Very proud of her place. She provided everything you need and more. Lots of snacks available like candy and sodas. Lots of continental breakfast items.

I missed the “shared” bathroom part when I booked. There was only one bathroom in the whole house and it was downstairs. Tough in the middle of the night for us. I would have loved a hot breakfast.

Our stay at Cathy’s was beyond expectations! The Landerholm is on a quiet street, with a welcoming porch to enjoy morning coffee or to set the sun after a busy day. Speaking of coffee, we can truly say that Cathy’s is the best we’ve ever had. She uses three different blends to create the perfect cup. Along with the coffee, we enjoyed artisan bread, fresh picked cantaloupe from her garden, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, and a huge assortment of sweet rolls. Our room was so comfortable, and equipped with a mini fridge, computer, printer, and best of all, our own private cookie and candy jars! We traveled with our dog, who loved Cathy’s spacious backyard, huge assortment of dog toys, and even special homemade treats. Cathy offers boarding, so we could enjoy our days in Wisconsin Rapids knowing Willow was happy and safe. Cathy was a wonderful host, completely spoiling us during our stay. We look forward to our next visit at the Landerholm.

I thought she had some good set ups outside if you are a reader or coffee drinker a piece full area to enjoy

I was expecting a more up to date B&B and a home cooked breakfast made by the staff or a home cooked dinner. Either way.

Just be aware, shared bath on first floor, both bedrooms are on the second floor. This was not what we expected.

Cathy was very friendly and an exceptional host.
