MD HOUSE

Diego kept in contact with us and asked about our expected arrival time at the property so that he was able to meet us at the door. He was very friendly and welcoming and explained everything that we needed to know about the room. Even though breakfast wasn't included, Diego told us that there was a good supermarket across the street and we were able to eat in the communal lounge. We would thoroughly recommend MD House to anyone else and thanks for the great night's stay.

We didn't have hot water

We stayed one night near ferry port so wasnt too fussy. The place is bedrooms with private bathroom within a shared kitchen and lounge area with balcony overlooking the street and a sea view. Place is pretty dull. I wouldn't stay there again, kitchen sparsely equipped, coffee capsules didn't fit coffee maker. Good job we brought our own coffee, a pretty tired place overall. Toilet flusher broke on first use and cistern took around an hour to refill. No aircon but does have a ceiling fan, bit of street noise but not bad. Host was OK to be fair, met us to check in, said he wouldve sorted the toilet had we called him but we checked our early next morning to catch the ferry so didnt bother. Could be really nice place with a bit of investment.

Location was central for what I wanted to explore. Neat and tidy with great hosts. Enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Will definitely use the accommodation again if I visit the city.

The location

The place was not very clean, poor quality of sheets (very thin) no air conditioner so room was very hot and fans were not enough, coffee machine did not work, overall very poor.

Very small room.

Diego picked us up from the airport and his son Mateo took us and our luggage to the port the next morning. Great communication and quick response to questions. Beds were super comfortable. The location was excellent and lots of restaurants and sites were within walking distance. We enjoyed our day in Civitavecchia prior to our cruise and would happily stay here again. There are several other single rooms in this unit, but we were the only ones there for the night.

There was no breakfast provided, and I thought that was in the listing for rental, but I could be mistaken.

Was great for a quick night stay before getting on the ship. Close to many restaurants within walking distance. Place felt safe and the owners were friendly. The living space provided a common Kitchen and Dinning room table that made the place feel much bigger. The view out the window was of the Cathedral next door so it was very comfortable.

The room has a lack of outlets for charging phones and computer.

Location is the advantage for people wanting to reach the cruise on time.
