Comfortable property, well maintained overall, comfortable beds, good location, good quality bed linens and towels

Parking is difficult though we did fortunately find a space a couple of roads away but you’d need to calculate this high additional cost if using the overnight parking. In the bathroom some of the surfaces were quite dusty and the toilet seat needs attention/replacing but these are small in the overall v good property

The word that best describes our hosts is generous. Plenty of bedding, blankets, pillows and towels. Thoughtful and good quality kitchen equipment. Decent amount of toys and plenty of useful local info. All six beds were incredibly comfortable, with lovely feather pillows and comfortable 100% cotton bed linen.

The water pressure, the boiler and the shower were not up to the same high standard as the rest of the property. There was not enough hot water to run a full adult bath. The shower was very weak.

the weather!!! But our cottage was cosy and welcoming, so we enjoyed our stay. Just to mention, steep stairs to upper floors, not suitable for those with mobility issues. Absolutely fine for us, but may be difficult for less agile holiday makers.
