Bexhill Old Town Retreat

The owner was very welcoming. Thought had gone into making the stay special by providing board games, cards, sun tan lotion, mosquito spray along with milk, bread, butter, tea, coffee and sugar, BBQ plus a lot more. I highly recommend staying in Bexhill Old Town Retreat and visiting Bexhill Museum, De La Warr Pavilion with a trip to Hastings Old Town.

The chemical toilet. Didn’t use the job as wasn’t staying long enough.

Rachel is a very friendly and helpful host! Shepherds hut was very clean and comfortable and situated in a very quiet and pretty garden. Has everything we needed and more for a great little break away. Location is great for beach and restaurant's. Had a fantastic time, thank you.

Very pretty. Offered lots of things. Nice touch of eggs milk bread in fridge we r out for breakfast with friends but a lovely touch. Bottle of water always lovely to have. Nice garden to sit and have morning cup of tea listening to the birds. Easy walking distance of restaurants etc.

Unfortunately no Wi-Fi that was sustainable so couldn’t watch anything on devices. However games similar to catchphrase and others were available. Trying to wash face in the sink a bit tricky but shower available.

Breakfast being left for us was a nice surprise. Well equipped, had everything you could possible need. Friendly host, who greeted us when we arrived.

Very clean and cosy. Host friendly and helpful, brought us a fan as the weather was so warm. Fridge stocked with essential items. Excellent location, 10 -15 minute walk to seafront, shops and cafes.

Our host left us eggs, bread and oat milk to cook for breakfast which we enjoy sitting outside in the sunshine.

Lovely accommodation in peaceful surroundings. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to return one day .
