Beautiful spot. Secluded and off the beaten track. A wonderful place to get away from it all and enjoy the view.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location! Well equipped, everything we needed. Comfortable bed and lounge area. Lovely walks nearby but it is a get away from it all property, make sure your stocked up before you arrive as there's no popping out, which we loved. The peace and birdsong was just perfect. Great communication from Paul. Would definitely reccomend.

The view is outstanding, even with the end of Cyclone Tam making it's way off the coast of New Zealand. We found ourselves sitting and staring out to sea, absorbing the views, the sounds of the birds, and the crashing of the ocean on the rocks below. We even met the resident Ruru by following the track on the property. Listen out for the Kākā flying around the bush at the rear of the property. Beautifully presented home, extremely cosy - we slept very well. Due to the bad weather during our stay, we didn't do much adventuring, but during a break in the rain/wind, we took the track down to Boulder Bay. A lovely walk with some slippery parts, a good workout :)

Unfortunately, ants were a big problem, made worse by the wet weather. We are a clean and tidy couple, but even with this, they found themselves in the house (even on the bedding). We had found they had infested our car on departure day! Very grateful for the bug spray provided in the house (we used to live in Auckland and appreciate how much of a pain they are)

Very remote, long drive to get anywhere, limited internet

Location and views were superb. House was immaculate and spotlessly clean.

Had a few challenges running hot water in the shower, but figured it out eventually.

That is such a special place - just wonderful! Would have loved to stay a few days more. Fotos show exactly what it is, but when you are there it’s even better. If you look for a perfect quiet place, with a breathtaking view, somewhere nowhere, that’s the place.

What can I say...this place is fantastic,the views are incredible and the facilities are second to none . Just wish we had been able to stay longer.
