Coco Bay

My wife and I stayed in a private room. It’s a tad expensive by Nicaraguan standards, but prices everywhere at this lake (the cleanest in the country and one of the cleanest in all of Latin America) are all on the high side. The room we booked on Booking.com was one of three below the reception area, and I can’t recommend them. Hot, not much privacy and small. The nice reception staff allowed us to move to one of the two rooms on the same floor as the reception office, and they are fantastic. Large, two fans, your own private balcony, hammock and chairs, with a beautiful lake view. That act of kindness made our five star review. The food is ok, the staff friendly and attentive. You are a five minute walk from Paradise hostel, where there are games, activities, and a bigger restaurant and bar. But the joy of this place is the small, intimate area. They supply inner tube floats and free kayaks. On the weekends I’ve been told it can be busy here, but we were here on weekdays and it was tranquil and pleasant.

Nous recommandons à 100% Cocobay ! Après 2 jours à Granada nous voulions profiter de la lagune et chiller pendant un jour. C’était le parfait etablissement pour ça. Les chambres sont bien avec une vue incroyable sur la lagune. En plus le personnel est tres gentil. Nous avons du modifier notre réservation en dernière minute et ils ont été très arrangeant ! Merci beaucoup:)

Schitterende locatie aan het meer. Mooie kamer, wij zaten op de eerste verdieping (Iguana). Lekker eten, gratis kajakken zwembanden zwemvesten. Gratis koffie, thee, water. Welkomstdrankje ook fijn.
