Panta Rei resort

At first glance, the place makes a very good impression, it’s stylish, well-designed, and clearly marketed effectively. However, of all the hotels and resorts we stayed at during our three-week trip, this was the most expensive while offering the lowest overall quality. It gave us the feeling that maximizing profit was the main priority, rather than delivering real value to guests.

Breakfast starting only at 8:30 and lunch from 1:00 PM doesn’t really suit families with young children. The late breakfast time also led to a bit of a rush, and there weren’t enough tables available—often the only option was to sit in the sun. That said, staff were somewhat flexible if you arrived a little earlier. What stood out most to me, however, was the way the owner treated the staff. While he was consistently polite and professional with guests, I was genuinely uncomfortable witnessing how differently the staff were treated. For me, this is an important factor, and it would make me hesitate to recommend this place. Respect toward staff should be a given.

The location, pool and bungalows were absolutely gorgeous and the food was amazing! What a great team and chef they have, couldn’t be more helpful on our stay! Thank you everyone!

Это райское место посреди джунглей, потрясающей красоты сад, бунгало просто невероятное, светлый интерьер, стильная мебель, все красиво обставлено, а главное много мест для хранения. Утром вы просыпаетесь от пения птиц, на территорию приходят милые обезьяны. Уборка на отлично , еда вкусная. И поставила бы я 10 балов , если бы ни одно но…

Сильно разочаровал момент перед выездом. При заезде в отель нам сказали, что в завтрак включено одно блюдо и два напитка , я уточнила точно два, сотрудник отдела сказал, что точно. И мы каждое утро заказывали кофе и смузи, и никто от разу не сказал , что второй напиток платно. Зато ? Пот выезде нам вручили внушительный чек на смузи, и самое смешное , что кофе, которое дешевле , посчитали бесплатно, а смузи, конечно платно, хотя я всегда заказывала смузи и кофе, и оказалось , как я первоначально и подумала, что напиток на выбор один. Такой бы ситуации не произошло, если бы информация была написана , в меню , или где -то еще . Английский у персонала так себе, и еще этот парень, когда я начала раз играться, сказал, обращайся я переведу , типа , что это я с моим плохим английским , что -то не поняла , это вообще неуместно .

Hele mooie appartementen, ruim ingericht en veel opbergruimte. Twee douches tegenover elkaar inclusief buitenbad. Heel fijn voor een familie. Goed restaurant voor zowel ontbijt, lunch als diner. Super vriendelijk personeel. Veel privacy in het appartement door de beplanting er omheen.

Helaas geen zithoek binnen. De temperatuur van het zwembad was erg warm en geen schaduw in het water.

We had such a wonderful stay at Panta Rei; the staff are incredible, the food is amazing and the rooms and facilities are spotlessly clean and so comfortable. This was our first trip away with our 10 month old and the team made it so easy and relaxed for us, the space was perfect for us to chill in and the location allowed us to slowly explore some of the surrounding area. Thank you so much - we will definitely be back!

Nothing, it was amazing.

Schöne Allgemeinanlage. Mit Kindern wäre es wunderbar (wir haben keine). Das Zimmer war in Ordnung und sauber, aber den Preis von 150€ nicht wert. Frühstück war ok aber nicht der Allgemeinstandart der andern Hotels in Sri Lanka. 10 Minutem zu Fuß zum schönen Strand aber von der "Stadt" etwas zu weit weg.

Für uns zu viele Kinder. Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht. Die Bilder versprechen mehr.
