O Cantinho da Mariazinha by Amazing Madeira

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und mit allen nötigen Informationen versorgt. Die Lage ist perfekt, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Man ist gleich am Meer bzw. an der Seilbahn hinauf nach Monte. In der Gasse befinden sich zahlreiche Restaurants und Bars, wodurch es mal etwas lauter sein kann, was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Es befinden sich Parkmöglichkeiten in näher Umgebung (kostenpflichtige große Parkplätze sowie Kurzparkzonen und gebührenfreie Bereich), die gebührenfreie sind in gemütlichen zehn Minuten erreichbar. Die Unterkunft umfasst nur zehn Zimmer und ist daher sehr familiär. Das Frühstück war sehr gut für diese Hotelkategorie, es gab eine Auswahl an diversen Wurst und Käseaufschnitten, Rührei mit Speck, Honig und Marmeladen, frischem Obst. Das Highlight war das frische Brot aus der zugehörigen Bäckerei im Erdgeschoss sowie die frische gebackene süßen Backwaren wie „Pastel de Nata“.

Excellent location. Easy to find when you arrive, close to bus station and easy to grab bolts/ubers. Beautiful street. Lots of restaurants on the doorstep. Nice and helpful manager. She gave us good advice to book our hikes online. If you are planning to go hiking, book them well in advance! The room was large. Ours was facing the inner courtyard and it was quiet. Bed was large and comfortable.

Bathroom looks a bit tired. Coffee at breakfast is not good, if there was a proper expresso machine, I would give this place a 10.

Stayed for eleven nights. From the start the staff were friendly and very helpful. The location was very good, in the heart of the old town. The room was clean and spacious. Would highly recommend !

The staff were amazing. Carolina and Veronica were incredibly helpful and responsive to any queries and questions I had. They were always pleasant and in a good mood, which dded a very personal touch to the stay.

The breakfast options could be a little .ore substantial but I always started my day with it regardless. It did seem to match the standard of most other places I stayed in Madiera but with less options and items to choose from.

A szobánk tágas volt, ízlésesen berendezett. A reggeli és a személyzet rendkívüli. Mindenki nagyon kedves, mosolygós és segítőkész volt. Külön köszönet és üdvözlet Veronicának! A szállás tökéletes helyen található, az Óvárosban, közel a Teleferico állomáshoz.
