Sao Thiago House Madeira

The accommodation is unbelievably central, next to all the main attractions of the town. It is clean and modern, making our stay very comfortable. Marcos was an excellent host, and accommodated all of our requests- he facilitated things we wanted to see and provided great suggestions throughout the trip.

Great communication throughout. Thank you to all the family for welcoming us and making our stay so easy and comfortable. Really appreciated the pick-ups and flexibility. And the house was perfect.

Very well modernised little house, well designed well equipped. Excellent location in old town in pedestrianised street with everything you need nearby - basic shops, market, restaurants, cafės, buses, coaches, taxis, cable car, sea etc. Very useful being picked up at the airport by the owner.

Bed is not so easy to move up and down if you are short like we are, and the shower fixing was too high for one of us to reach. Spiral staircase to patio is attractive and ingenious, but it is tight and care is needed getting up and down. You can hear diners outside the restaurant opposite conversing up to midnight, but mostly at a low level and it doesn’t stop you getting off to sleep.

Location and service was great! Marcos was really helpful throughout the entire stay and always ready with a quick reply if we needed anything.
