Nhà Lúa Homestay

This homestay has a great location, a bit away from the chaos of Tam Coc/Trang An, and close to the exceptional Van Long reserve. The owner is very nice and gave us some great recommendations on where to spot langurs. The homestay has bikes available which are perfect to explore some of the beautiful surrounding villages, temples and rice fields. The food was the best we had in Vietnam.

Die Unterkunft ist relativ abgelegen und das Frühstück beinhaltet nur ein Getränk und ein Gericht. Mehr muss extra bezahlt werden

It was absolutely beautifully designed- clearly the owners have incredible taste. Little touches that only someone with style and elegance will know and do. For the price, versus the experience, it was excellent value for money. We ate there every evening, and the home-cooked food (breakfast and dinner) was exceptional. Some of the best food we'd had in Vietnam so far. The family were warm and kind and incredibly helpful. They also had bikes to hire for free including a baby seat which was really helpful.

For us, the location was perfect, as staying closer to the tourist areas- experiences, bars, and restaurants would not have been for us. (They are VERY touristy, and the food we experienced in those areas was terrible). But it did mean a 40-minute drive each morning to reach most of the key areas. Just something to be aware of. Although there is a fabulous boat/cave experience just a ten-minute cycle up the road which was very nice.

Beautiful home and rooms, with a great pool. Delicious food, and a wonderful host family to welcome us and make us feel at home. Beautiful quiet location, unlike tourist trap of trang an. Great location for easy day trips to tourist locations or for staying local and cycling around rice fields.

Nothing to complain

The garden and the room, everything was as advertised . Hoang and his family created this small cozy oasis in the countryside. The food was also very delicious and prepared with attention.

We really enjoyed the property and to explore the area by bicycle, but you definitely need a scooter, or use grab to get around the area and to get to the main attractions of Ninh Binh.

The host family was very friendly, including 2 adorable children. The grounds were really quite lovely. The food was excellent. Nice to be able to borrow bicycles (for free) to visit Van Long. Motor scooters were also available for rent (though we did not use them).
