Riana's Homestay

We spent 3 perfect days at Riana homestay with our two daughters. The rooms are clean and confortable and the homestay is in a quiet area of Rantepao. The breakfast was delicious ! We have also spent 2 magic days visiting the Toraja country via the homestay guide service: Forget Ketekesu, you will visit much better places to see tongonan villages, forget he main roads, you will pass throught scenic little road full of bambou and palms forest ! The ceremony we participed joining the family meal was also great (it was much better than being parked with the other tourists into the tourist area)! Thank you Riana homestay

-Very clean and spacious room. -super friendly and helpful owner. -Good Breakfast and coffee served. -Water dispenser provided. -Wi-Fi is moderate. In my room , I able to conduct meetings but it was sometime unstable but surely enough for daily use.

-not very good soundproofing -light sleeper may get disturbed from sleep due to the morning prayer from the mosque -very hard water quality from the shower room For me , it doesn’t matter so I would still recommended this homestay in overall!

Exceptionally helpful and kind owner (and his family). Mr. Daud is also an excellent guide with vast knowledge about the local culture and nature.

The environment is nice. And host is knowledgable guide, made my visit much easier.

breakfast was fine. Location only ok, very noisy at 5 am. The bathroom needs maintenance. it is old and stained.

Its right in the city center but still quiet (except for the morning prayers but this is usual in this country). The Family is really Kind and helpful. The Homestay is cozy. Very good service for a budget.
