This place is fabulous! With parking right outside the old city walls of Tarquinia, it’s a perfect spot for walking around. The beds were comfortable, the unit very clean and Simone had left us water and some treats. (Thank you, Simone!). Her aunt and uncle welcomed us and showed us how to use everything. What kind and lovely people. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it to others.

This modern apartment is exceedingly clean, well-appointed, comfortable, and has a great location just outside the old city gate of Tarquinia. The kitchen has everything you need; the TV has streaming service; the bedrooms have comfy beds and pillows and large closets; the bathroom has plenty of hot water, good water pressure, and the shower doesn't leak. It's located on a private courtyard with three other apartments, two of which are occupied by the hosts Dino and Gisa. A 2-minute walk takes you to a great bar for coffee, fresh pastries, light lunch, and drinks; restaurants are a 10-minute walk away. The apartment appears as it looks in the listing photos, but the best thing about this apartment you cannot see: the hosts! Dino is a fantastic host, going out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. He greeted us cheerfully each morning when he saw us in the courtyard and took great interest in our travels, what we had already seen, and what we hoped to do in Tarquinia. He set up a tour for us with a fantastic guide -- Claudia Moroni -- to see the underground Etruscan tombs. We had several interesting conversations with Dino about his life in Italy and our life in California. We have made a new friend in Tarquinia and hope to return again someday. Thank you, Dino, for making our time in Tarquinia so special!

Beautifully decorated and very centrally located

The appartment is extremely nice and confortable, and it is equipped with all you can need during your stay, even the slightest details. The location is perfect. The owners are extremely friendly and made us feel at home.

The location was excellent, only a 10 minute walk to anything you would need - including the bus stop which we used to get to the station and the beach. Lovely, spacious apartment, very nicely decorated with comfortable furniture and a gorgeous balcony. Impeccably clean and owner was incredibly helpful and friendly when we had any issues.

Steep stairs to access the property, wasn’t an issue for us but may be for those with accessibility needs. Otherwise, absolutely no issues - we loved our stay.

The location is outstanding. It is no more than 50 metres walk to the gates of the historic centre. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with everything you require for your stay. Parking is at your door. Even though it is self check in, the hosts are very responsive with any queries you might have.
