The Little Gable

Location was perfect for the Stables theatre, very comfortable bed, kitchen facility and fridge ideal. Fabulous views too. Lovely helpful owners.

Would have liked to have stayed longer

Couldn't be better for a music gig in The Stables, I was amazed to find it free on a Saturday night a few days before booking. It was the clincher to me as there isn't really any accommodation close by to the music venue. I was suprised no television. It's not essential but traveling on your own, I do like something on in the background sometimes. But hey - got the radio etc all on the phone these days. Warning - head height of slopped ceiling - remember to take in to account the extra height needed if you have put your curlers in :O)

Location, very near to the Stables where we were attending a concert. The bed was very comfortable. The owners were very friendly.

It would have been nice to have a hand towel each. The temperature in the studio when we arrived was only 14.5 but we very quickly able to get it warm. The sloping roof in the studio meant it wasn't very user friendly for the taller person, my partner had to constantly bend if he moved from the centre of the room! the sink was very difficult to use as it was squashed under the eaves. There was no hairdryer, radio TV, shelving in the bathroom or toilet brush. We were unable to link to the internet. The shower temperature fluctuated drastically during use. Having said all of this we would probably use it again when visiting the Stables but feel that it wouldn't be suitable for a longer stay.

Really cosy room with all the facilities needed. Warm welcome by Aimie and throughout our stay. If all goes to plan, I will be booking again very soon.
