The Little Gable

Very clean, comfortable bed, quiet and peaceful, excellent shower, excellent free wifi, perfect location for my visit to The Stables concert venue. dedicated off-street parking. Good communications with the host.

The apartment is in the gable so has a sloping roof, which means taller people in particular may need to stoop when moving around. No TV, though you can of course watch on a tablet/laptop using the wifi. An outdoor seating area (couple of metal chairs and a table perhaps) would be nice.

Perfect in every way. Will definitely be coming back.

I like that the apartment is tucked away and very quiet, had a good nights sleep and the pub down the road was useful to drop into and have an evening meal.

Nothing to complain about really

The location was perfect as we were going to a gig at The Stables.The Velux roof lights were great, giving a good view of MK.The little kitchenette was great for making our hot drinks. Milk, tea, coffee and sugar were all provided.

The toilet is very close to the wall so would be difficult for larger people. It was OK for us. The shower was lovely.

The place is small but very well thought through, taking advantage of every space. It even has a kitchen with everything for a quick cooking. Aimie was very nice and helpful, reacting immidiately to our questions. The neighbourhood is quiet, just an owl interrupting the night 🙂

The decor was really nice and to my taste. Loved that it had a cafetière and ground coffee! The bed was super comfortable. In a lovely area within the lovely grounds of the owner's house. Had most of the things that you would need. Nice pull-out table.

The shape of the room meant that you couldn't stand up straight around the kitchen area. I have a back injury so it was uncomfortable. The toilet seat doesn't fit either which again was problematic due to my condition (it caused pains down my leg). I couldn't open the key lock for ages - it was late so I didn't want to wake the owner who I am sure would have come to help. No iron. Test the shower temperature before you get in!
