The location was perfect, away from the square area and crowds. The property was very clean and easy to access. Very spacious apartment with a wonderful balcony to people watch right below you.

The location is fantastic

This apartment was excellent! A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of May and it was the perfect place for our stay. The apartment feels new and fresh and tastefully decorated with entry off the main street via a security gate which makes it feel safe. Once through the gate you walk up some grand old stairs through large and weathered doors into a cool stone-walled convent style area with columns and arches. Despite the apartment feeling new inside it really felt like you were staying in some wonderful part of Amalfi’s history . We utilised the fold out lounge and it was comfortable enough for the short stay. The apartment has everything you need should you want to cook food or wash clothes. The location is excellent. It’s toward the end of the main touristy part of Amalfi but is an easy walk from the port if arriving by ferry or bus. I liked it given it wasn’t right in the main square and liked how it gave accessibility to the limoncello factory, Melphi’s bar, finding back streets to walk through, shops, cafes, and finally for the walk up the hill to Agricola Fore Porta which I really recommend you visit! That place was such a delight and one of my favourite places of my whole Amalfi trip. The location is only a short stroll through the hustle and bustle to the main square for lemon gelato, the duomo and even walking on to Atrani for a look. It’s all great, how v can you complain when in Amalfi!

The apartment has wonderful large windows and doors that open to a balcony overlooking the main street so there is some noise from early morning cleaning and people going about their routine. It was not a concern for me but it would be a consideration for someone who is looking to sleep in while in Amalfi. For that I marked the property a 9 instead of a 10, because everything else is great!
