It's a fantastic apartment—it actually looks better than the pictures. It's located on the main street but tucked inside a garden, so it's quiet. It has such a beautiful, whimsical entrance and elevator access to the second floor (try taking your luggage to most of the Airbnbs in Amalfi, and you'll know what a bonus this is!). The building is an amazing historical gem and the flat is brand new and perfectly appointed with all the modern amenities. The hosts have thought of everything that you might need - from the first aid kit to the quality candles. As we arrived late, they had even left a box of pasta and a jar of sauce for us! All that Amalfi has to offer is within 5 minutes away on foot from this place.

Such a wonderful airbnb right in the heart of Amalfi - beautifully decorated, perfect location and just like the images although nicer in person and much larger than the photos depicted. We both really enjoyed our stay here, everything you needed plus a washing machine which is always a bonus. Host was very receptive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to stay here.

Like all the beds in Italy, quite hard, seems to be the norm across all places we stayed!

Nice and big apartment, very central

We loved our three night stay at Nova Rua. The second floor apartment is situated at the front of a very old building. Various insignia and emblems around the building suggest a connection to the Knights Hospitaller. Directly opposite the apartment is the popular La Taverna del Duca and La Fontana De Cape E Ciucci which hordes of tourists come to see. Access to the apartment is through a gate opposite the Trattoria and up an external stone staircase. A lift is also available. The apartment is modern, bright, well decorated and it had all the facilities that we required including excellent wi-fi. As there were four of us we used the sofa bed and found it very comfortable. We found it fun relaxing with a drink on the balcony while gazing at the throng of tourists below. The host was charming, communicative and helpful. As the apartment faces the main street some noise is to be expected but this was not a nuisance to us. We hope to stay again and highly recommend the apartment.

Modern, well equipped apartment right in the centre of Amalfi. Amazing location, only a short walk away from pretty much anywhere in the town. The apartment is within an amazing historic building! Well worth the stay!

While it had most things in there, some essentials like shower soap were missing. There wasn’t clear information on how to connect to the wifi, but the host was helpful when asked about it.
