Hung Thinh Motel

Very very very cheap and did exactly what we needed it to do. A bed and a clean bathroom. Don't expect anything more.

We stayed here for 12 hrs waiting for the train. The location is perfect, the hosts are so sweet, there are many great restaurants just a 1 - 3 minute walk. Best of all, the Homestay was very clean, the bed was soft (unlike most in Vietnam), the water pressure was great and hot water. Very spotless and brand new inside. Thanks for a great stay

Fantastic little motel just 100m from Dong Hoi station - only 3 rooms. No lift so be prepared to haul your luggage up the flight of stairs to your room. Fantastic value for money we stayed here to catch a 6:45 am train. The rooms were clean and tidy, air conditioned. Great eateries next door. The lady owner stayed up to wash 2 x loads of laundry for us prior to our onward trip which was really appreciated seeing we just finished the Caves adventure hike and had smelly laundry with us. Highly recommend.

Just be prepared to haul luggage up stairs. Only take cash so can’t pay with credit card … but cheap enough !

We booked this room as it was close to the train station for our next destination. Staff were extremely friendly, the room was clean and neat.

What a little gem of a place. This is one of the best small hotels I have stayed in on my travels from HCMC to Ha Giang and back. It is very new, the people are lovely and there is parking for motorbikes in the forecourt. It's only 200 metres from the Dong Hoi train station and is a perfect base for trips to Phong Nha caves. Cafes abound within metres of the hotel.

The owner and his wife are very friendly and help me a lot on my travel and help me call the cab while I have difficulty to book it.
