Trang Toan Hotel

The room has two huge double beds and mountains view. The hotel is very central near the authentic Vietnamese restaurants, massages places, busstation and the beaches. Breakfast is included in this already very low price. The family who owns the place was service minded and wonderful, always smiling. Even though they spoke little english, they were very good at communicating via Google translate. They provide all sorts of tours for a very good price. I would definitely recommend booking your tours with them because they make sure you get picked up directly from the hotel without any fussy.

Very sweet people and so helpful. The room is spacious with everything you need, even a minibar. The breakfast is good with lot of choice. The localisation is perfect.

The room can be a bit humid but if you let the windows open during the day it will fix the problem.

Good location close to many restaurants. Tours for Ha Long Bay all pick-up from this hotel. Can book a full day tour of Ha Long Bay through this hotel for a very affordable price. Room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. Bed, linens, and pillows were comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower. WiFi worked well. Breakfast was simple, but yummy. Hosts were friendly and it was fun trying to communicate with them as they primarily speak Vietnamese (obviously)!

The owners were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Rooms were big and clean. Very good value for money. Boat trip was the best price in town and could book onward travel for a good price here. Would stay again if we return to cat ba.

A kettle in the room would have been nice. Also, the blanket on the bed is very small. But I would definitely stay here again.

The room a basic not closet to put down your garment so you drop them off and let them in your pack The place is near restaurant and market You have the strange impression to be tolerate into a family house and not a homestay because family hang around lobby, stairs all day long. Maybe it normal but I found it like a stronger who spare space of the house
