Amazing staff, very friendly and helpful to arrange things in Cat Ba. Comfortable room with good shower.

Spacious room and bathroom. Great breakfast and good location.

Used bars of soap didn’t feel the most hygienic.

Great value for money, including breakfast! Staff super helpful, even though there is a bit of a language barrier can easily communicate through google translate! They helped us to extend our stay and book on for activities. In a central location on the island and have reasonable rates for bikes etc

The one thing I’d say is the rooms are quite moist and damp, I found my shoes became mouldy and my makeup remover towel even when neither were wet. But as I say, it’s super cheap, you get what you pay for!

Helpful staff. They can arrange tours for you. The rooms are spacious and clean and the bathroom was also clean and neat. Very good value for money. Breakfast is simple but for the price you can't complain! Definitely we can recommend this place.

The bathroom window can not be opened completely so there is some smell in our room. Other rooms seemed better. Also our bathroom air ventilator wasn't working. Mattress is quite hard, but we slept good

It was perfectly comfortable, it was clean, very well located, the staff were nice and helped me arrange a tour around the bay (a cheap and good one, too)...I mean, pretty much everything was good. My very affordable booking price even had breakfast included (breakfast was so so but for this price it really doesn't matter). Even the Internet was pretty ok (I work remotely so I had tried to check in advance because this is important for me). I'm giving it a 8/10 just because I always rate accommodations quite conservatively, but let's just say that this hotel is pretty good value for money.

The first day there were a few power cuts, not just in this hotel but in the area. It's not the hotel's fault, but if you need to work or do anything like that, keep in mind these kinds of limitations.

It's located near the center of the town. You can also rent the motorbikes at the hotel. Staff will arrange trips to Halong Bay and any other location you want to go. I went from Cat Ba to Ha Giang, no problem at all. The pickup is in front of the hotel.
