I had an amazing stay at this perfect camp. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and always ready to accommodate our needs. Our tent was comfortable and clean. The tent facilities were very nice and in a wonderful Bedouin style. Also the food here was delicious especially the dinner meal cooked in the delicious Bedouin style. Thank you guys for this wonderful experience

Our stay in this camp was unforgettable. The location was amazing. Surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. The exceptional welcome by the friendly staff, headed by (Ahmad) who received us wonderfully and was cheerful and helped us in everything. He gave us our tent upon arrival, which was a beautiful tent with a wonderful view of the desert with air conditioning and a private bathroom. Abdulrahman introduced us to the activities they do and we chose (jeep tour) and camel riding tour with sunrise. It was a beautiful experience. In conclusion, I advise everyone to visit this beautiful camp

"Nice stay but not 5* (READ REVIEWS WITH COMMENTS)"

7.0

- We enjoyed our stay in Wadi Rum in the bubble tent - The tours were really good and the tour guides Mahmoud and Achraf were lovely - Lovely views from the tent and staff were helpful - You can get tea and water from the main camp building all throughout the day

- no WIFI - not very organised - READ REVIEWS WITH COMMENTS BEFORE BOOKING - On arrival you’re just overloaded with information about tours and costs of food after a long travel day it’s not ideal (blaming refugees for lack of tourism when really they need better management of the camp) they should let you rest and then discuss tours and costs etc. Some of us also care about refugees! - there’s no pricing list for tours etc so they can hike up prices as they wish - Your choices for food are limited to the camp, breakfast was really basic. Lunch & Dinner was good but they can charge whatever prices they want because you have no other option (expensive - 60 JD for two dinners) - breakfast was NOT good. Does not reflect the pictures in this listing - they charge a transfer fee of 50JOD from the fuel station to the camp which is a ten min journey unless you book a tour through them (when you can actually enter from the visitor centre) - The photos on this page are not accurate. I wouldn’t pay more than £40 for a two night stay here - they turn the AC off during the day which was fine for us but avoid if visiting in the summer as the bubble tents get VERY hot

Mahmud, our guide during the night tour was really nice, helpful and a great guide. The location and the view from the tents is breathtaking.

Ahmed, the owner was really pushy and cared all about the money and the good review, it was unpleasant to be around him.

"Nice site and tents but wouldn’t recommend this camp."

4.0

Good location and nice views could watch the sunset from our tent. The room was decent considering the amount we paid.

Awful food! We paid 30JOD for buffet dinner which was not fresh at all and very poor selection of food. We also had the same food each day for breakfast and dinner which were obviously leftovers from day before. No allergy advice which for someone who has a nut allergy was very dangerous as we found peanuts in the rice! We found ourselves hungry quite a few times because of not being able to eat the food with no options to go out for food or buy any snacks on site. Pictures from previous reviews are not accurate at all. We also paid for lunch which was picked up from a local shop instead of cooked for us and this was probably the best food from the stay. No electricity including air con until sunset and we couldn’t leave the site unless we paid 20 JOD for a drop off back to our car. No bathroom mat or fresh towels in room. No evening entertainment and nothing to do if not booked on a trip eg. If booked onto sunrise/ sunset trip nothing to do for rest of day. Sunrise tour was okay but that was down to how lovely the young man Mahmoud was. We were not given any water or food for the 4hrs whilst on tour and also missed breakfast which we had paid for which didn’t really matter because of how bad the food was anyways.
