Moon Island Camp

Everything was fantastic, breakfast, dinner, and the rooms were amazing. The 4 hour jeep tour was so worth it, you see so much of the desert, you go right into the middle where there is nothing around, pure silence. They take you to the best place to see the sun set. Ahmed came to meet us at the pick up point and he will show you around. He also takes you back to the pick up point to save you worrying about travel difficulties. Amazing stay!

My family mostly don’t use hotel blankets and bed sheets but here they could use their bed and blankets 😊

No sweets in buffet dinner

The location was very quiet and had nice views of the mountain. The staff were helpful regarding any questions or concerns I had during my stay. The hotel did offer night tours (stargazing) and will help you to arrange day yours (jeep safari) inside of the Wadi Rum protected area. Hotel will arrange pick up for you from the meeting point. They will communicate with you prior to your stay.

It would have been helpful to know that cars/taxis can not directly access the camp due to desert road. Since cars/taxis can not go directly to the camp. The camp can pick you up at the pick-up point which is about a 15 minute ride away. Rides to and from the pick-up point and the Wadi Rum visitor center are 20 JOD each way. The only way pick-up is free is if you book a jeep safari through the camp directly and not an outside vendor. It would have been helpful to know that breakfast is included and that dinner is not included (~15 JOD per night). It is important to remind visitors that they need to buy a ticket at the Wadi Rum visitor center as soon as the get to the area. You must bring enough cash (JOD) and you can not use a credit card to pay for your stay upon arrival.

Amazing Camp. We was there for one night, sleep in the bubble tent like in another planet. Ahmed and his team did the best: we took a 4hours sunset jeep tour, stargazing and dinner-i highly recommended for everyone. Dinner was very good. Very good people, did for us everything we need.Thank you.We will back one day.Tour guide was cousin of Ahmed young boy that took us really professional video and fotos!Great experience!

Everything was clean and good looking

Nothing. To be honest it was the best experience we got out of Jordan, even better than visiting Petra.

Everything was good. Flexible with kids. Best activities for kids and families. Bubbles are clean.

It was ammaZing experience for my family. Nice place bery calmand clean. I took the activiteis likr night tour , jeep tour Thery were also amazing . I can rrmember thq queit and beautiful night and sighting. The food also very nice. You can enjoy everything. I recommand this place for your memory.
