Very well situated. Comfy bed. Nice that we can cook.

It's not ruining the stay, but there are some things I've noticed. In bathroom there is a black mold by the window. There could be coffee and tea but there were rather left overs after previous tenants. There was shower gel but no shampoo. The bed squeaks badly. Only one wine glass. Just one little spoon. Basically some stuff are just missing. The stairs to get to the room are fine but the roof over is veeeery low so if you're pretty tall watch out cause you WILL hit your head. I am 165 and was going down very careful and still hit my head and collected spiderwebs with my hair. Check in is very unclear. The business should inform on the process. And I kept asking multiple times and did not get the answer (even if I communicated in Italian). The check in was quite late too even though they asked a WEEK prior when I will be coming. I said 16. They told me on the day of the arrival that I can come at 18. Streets are full of beggars and it's bit unpleasant so waiting 2 hours between such company isn't the nicest experience. I would like the company to inform me on how the process is. I would like to know prior if it's an apartment closed by code or keys. Btw it's closed by keys and a guy has to hand you them. Keep it in mind cause in Sicilian time there is no concept of being on time. So even if we agreed to meet at 18 - there was noone there at that time. They didn't pick the phone. The company wasn't answering UNTIL I wrote to the customer service. Then the action picked up the pace A LOT. And I don't blame them. It's Sicily. Time flies differently here. It's a legit spot, but just be prepared the owner might come late. The touristic tax you can pay to the owner but you get no confirmation of payment too. The neighbourhood is very nice, but it's also very loud. Fireworks are common, very loud noise. And collection of multiple music from different restaurants at once.

I had an amazing stay at La Pigna in Palermo! The apartment was spotless, modern, and fully equipped with a kitchen, washing machine, and a private balcony. The location is perfect—walking distance to Teatro Massimo, Fontana Pretoria, and other landmarks. Despite being central, the soundproofing ensured a peaceful stay. The air conditioning and fast WiFi were great bonuses. Plus, the express check-in and on-site minimarket made everything super convenient.

If was a great stay for a very fine price, thank you! :). Bring earplugs and it will be perfect :).

Top position, right in the city center

The property is very old, and the stairs to get to the apartment are unsafe (very low roof that would be very challenging for a tall person, or even not fit). Unfortunately there is mold in the bathroom, and every piece of furniture (kitchen, bed) is fatiscent.

We pretty much enjoyed our stay there. The apartment was equipped with towels and hair dryer, just as it was said. Everything was extra clean, special thanks to Mr Salvo, he did an amazing job! ☺️ The location is 10 out of 10, it’s situated next to the Opera, so it takes less than 3 minutes to get to the Main Street!

It was a little bit noisy at night, but we didn’t mind it - if you’re a person who can’t stand that, get yourself some earplugs 😉

The location is really central, so you have to understand that until 23:00 there is noise because it is a street of entertainment.

The cleanliness is low level and the towels are old.

Clemente has been amazing,super easy to communicate.We had a deleted flight and we arrived at 1.45.am and he wait for us to open the place. The place is right in the middle of the centre. Very clean and organised. highly recommended!!

We stayed at the apartment for a week. We were in contact with Clemente, a really helpful and amazing host. 😊He really helped us regarding the way from the airport to the apartment, he gave us helpful tips, good suggestions for our trip around Palermo! He was at our disposal all the time, answering to any question we had responding in a minute. That was more than appreciated ! Salvo was waiting for us for the check in, a really kind and smiley man. The apartment was clean, smelling good as also the beddings and the towels.

Instead of being in a really good location close to Massimo Theatre, there is a pub next to the apartment, a bit crowded especially on the weekend.
