Corazon De Baler

We had an amazing experience at Corazon de Baler and very happy with everything. It’s cute, cosy and clean with excellent service and a view that was absolutely to die for. We can’t wait to return It’s a hidden gem in Baler 💛💛

Fantastic care takers, Joel, his wife and Alexa the poodle. They made our stay excellent. The electricity went down on various occasions and he was there to start the backup generator and see that we were ok. Without them this would be pretty much a mediocre accommodation. The location is good if your a beach or sea person but it is stretch to town or any sort of descent shopping / groceries place.

No breakfast or eating facilities and no place to cook, we had to get permission to use what the Filipinos call a "dirty kitchen", this is an outside facility with a gas cooking range, that we got to use to make breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The balcony is lovely, nice to be sitting watching the sea. Bed is very comfortable.

For the price it would have been nice to have some more plates and cutlery in the kitchen...The place is a little run down with doors to balcony hard to open and tap in kitchen almost coming off but the space itself is great, open and light.

This might be the best place to stay in Baler! The building is new, the room is stylish and comfortable! I stayed in the ground floor room with a patio and swimming pool and my friend stayed in the upper room with the balcony and amazing sea view.

For an individual traveler who prefers to stay in apartments instead of big hotels it was just perfect!

Pros: - Beach front - Pool for my baby was a plus - They provided kitchen plates, spoons, forks and even sponge with dishwashing soap. - Parking - Internet with netflix. - Comfy bed and pillows. - Free coffee and tea. - Joey, the caretaker was extremely accommodating and nice. Thank you. Cons: - A bit dusty. Since the top of the ref was eye level, you can see the dust. Other things not related to Corazon but good for other guests to know: - The beach was dirty. We were a bit disappointed. Not too kid friendly. - Few choices for food. Aliya Surf was crowded, we had to drive to look for another restaurant or ride a tricycle. A few cafe that's walking distance, but that's it.
