Romantic Cottage in the Cotswolds with Private Parking and WiFi

Overall the property was comfortable to stay and had all the amenities

dining room/living area not designed well. better without table and just to make a more comfortable living room, smelled a bit weird too. pictures taken with narrow lens, place is actually so small.

It was very homely. Clean. Plenty of information messages sent prior to arrival. Enjoyed our stay.

The gate to the property needed mending and the garden needed a tidy up.

Cottage review We love Winchombe , there are some lovely walks and restaurants locally The cottage is very well located Parking and check in was super easy The bedrooms were immaculately clean , both with en-suite bathrooms

The property has been split into multiple accommodation and as a result the downstairs is very small There is no outside space other than a very small stoned area to the front, it’s not enough to sit outside Upon arriving at the property , there was a strange smell in the living room/kitchen , the decor needs updating , as does the sofa and seating etc , as the room is very compact I’d suggest utilising the space more effectively by popping the TV onto the wall and having a drop down table instead It is disappointing someone reviewed the property back in April and said about batteries for the clock in the downstairs space and in June it still hadn’t been rectified , it’s a lovely cottage and location it just needs some loving care

Perfect location on the outskirts of a lovely village with private parking. Self check in with a key box on the side of the porch. Only a 10 min stroll over to Sudeley Castle. Beds are very comfortable. Space is perfect for two people for a short break. We had problems with the front door key which didn't quite work correctly in the lock, but were impressed with the efficiency of help when contacting the office.

Key not working properly was a bit of a glitch, but this was resolved when we received a new key. As mentioned in previous reviews, I could smell a very strong aroma of ammonia (poss dog/cat wee?) in the downstairs living area, which I felt was maybe coming from the ageing sofa. Interestingly though, my friend couldn't...but I have a very good sense of smell & she claims she doesn't 😂🤷

The accommodation was extremely convenient for both for access to shops and country walks. Countryside is beautiful and local shops are convenient, varied and reasonably priced. This property was well appointed with all necessaries (washing machine, iron,vacuum cleaner etc.) and was both neat and tidy. Beds were comfortable. The location was quiet and peaceful even though a public footpath runs along the side of the building.

The property is part of a large house that has been split into 2 or 3 separate appartments, as a result, the downstairs was a bit small and cramped but comfortable and adequate for our needs.
