Romantic Cottage in the Cotswolds with Private Parking and WiFi

The TV was not ready to go, there was no terrestrial television available, and we didn’t know anything about this, if we did I wouldn’t have booked the house,

Comfy beds, easy to check in, perfect location, compact but well equipped kitchen.

Oddly, no toilet paper!

Location. Decor. I gave 10 out of 10 so everything good.

Didn’t know it was on 3 floors. I don’t think this was made clear on the information. Parking. The instructions very clearly said park on the left. I parked on the far left but got a message on my car window telling me that that space belonged to number 2 and that I should park “in the middle of the hedge”. Maybe a photo of the parking space would make it clearer. Kitchen - a jug would have been good - the pans couldn’t be used to pour into glasses.

I felt comfortable and liked how the rooms were set out despite their small size. The cottage was clean and tidy. The cottage is a short walk into the town.

Wasnt able to use apps to watch 'ordinary tv'. Would have liked a fridge with an ice box.

50m walking to the sheep ground just on the side road. Amazing beautiful town.

Next building like haunted house.

It was charming from the outside, very small inside.

The stairs and the shower. The water trickled out and it was impossible to adjust the temperature.

Convenient location and cosy

Double bed quite comfy but a little small. Quite fitting for size of cottage

Bedrooms were great; we also appreciated the parking for 2 cars, the garden and the neighbours were super friendly

The downstairs serves as a kitchen, dining area and seating area; we were ok, as we were out all day with the walking festival and just 2 single ladies; we felt that if we had been 4 people the ability to relax and watch TV would have been uncomfortable

Clean and comfortable cottage. Well equipped without being overloaded. Spacious bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms. Winchcombe was an ideal location for a base for our walking holiday, close to some lovely towns and villages.

Downstairs would have been a bit of a squeeze if there were 4 people staying as the dining table takes up a lot of the space. There was no freezer compartment to the fridge which we would have found useful if only to re-freeze our cool blocks for our picnic bags! If you are travelling with your dog, don’t get caught out by the agents fees as they’re not shown on the cottage’s listing. I thought £60 for 3 nights was pretty steep and contacted the agent to ask if it could be reduced. They explained that it was to cover carpet cleaning between guests but as there are no carpets downstairs and our dog doesn’t go upstairs they did agree to reduce it to £25 for us.
