Casa do Carvalho

Spacious modern house in the calm neighborhood with a view over the Atlantic ocean. It has all the anemities needed for a long either short stay. A few minutes away by foot of one of the levadas. Ideal for a trips by car on the western part of the island.

A bit uncomfy spring mattress, you feel each movement of a second person :) Road next to the house is a bit steep, access to the in yard parking could be tricky for the cars with really low ground clearance of the car (watch out for the bumpers/lower deflectors on the car). But there's no problem to park next to the house.

Schöne Lage, am Hang gelegen, schön ruhig.

Het uitzicht was fenomenaal

Voor een sportievere auto was er geen goede parkeerplaats. Wij adviseren een suv te huren.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön am Hang gelehen und man hatte einen tollen Blick auf die allabendlichen Sonnenuntergänge. Da das Quartier im äußersten Westen, abseits der touristischen Ecken, der Insel liegt, war es auch ziemlich ruhig. Restaurants und Geschäfte waren auch relativ schnell mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Ein Auto ist zwingend angeraten um das Haus zu erreichen.

A casa é muito espaçosa e tinha todos os utensílios necessários, nomeadamente micro-ondas, forno, fogão, ferro engomar, loiças, etc. Faltou uma torradeira e o secador deveria ser mais potente. No exterior também estava bastante completa com WC, cadeiras, mesas, espreguiçadeiras, corda para a roupa (faltou molas), etc.

Pensei que a localização fosse mesmo na Calheta, considerando a morada apresentada, sendo ainda a mais de 15 minutos de distância, sendo que o clima no sítio da casa já fazia bastante diferença (com chuva e nevoeiro), embora não saiba se é sempre assim ou calhou-nos.
