The Lark

The location is excellent, only a short walk from the train station and directly on the bridge into the centre of York with all the shops, bars and restaurants. The decor is lovely, it was easy to access the building, lots of information provided before the trip and at the accommodation. The bedrooms were very comfortable the entire apartment was immaculate we had everything we needed for a 2 night stay.

It wasn't a big issue but we had to vacate the apartment at 10am and our train wasn't until 4pm and there was nowhere to leave our bags we had to carry them with us on the last day.

The apartment was clean & in good condition, both bedrooms were a good size, the beds were very comfortable & the location was great

The parking that was included was a 7-8 minute walk away

Great location, lovely decor, very clean and tidy and finished to a high standard.

It was a bit misleading about a property with parking, as we were specifically looking for this. The parking was not with the property and a 5 minute walk to a council car park. The en suite smelt a bit damp and the sofa and chair was extremely uncomfortable.

It was immaculate and finished to a very high standard. The decor and accessories were done with flair and taste. Great location and will definitely stay there again.

Location excellent. Apartment beautifully designed. Fresh, light and airy. Comfortable beds. Would love to stay there again.

Heating takes a while to get the apartment warm.

No hot water on day one

Stunning apartment. Very cosy and homely. Able to control heat in all the rooms. Showers were hot and the kitchen was very well equipped - even had teabags and coffee for arrival (lovely touch). Great location for the tourist sites of York and it’s great choice of restaurants. Will definitely be returning to The Lark.
