Seiriol at Llanfair Hall

We love Anglesey we visit a lot. We fancied staying somewhere different than a caravan or an apartment. The lodge was a nice location and views at the lodge were very nice. We liked the area. If It was clean would have been better and just really looking forward to the hotub. The kids enjoyed playing outside on the swing and the grass. We went to our usual places we visit. We wouldn’t stay here again though.

Used crisps packets under the kids beds. Bathroom was mouldy and silicone on the floor was hanging out, really dirty in the shower along with a ceiling full of cobwebs and spiders. Hot tub wasn’t working but was like a boiling hot tub of water no jets no lights couldn’t get in as far to hot and couldn’t turn it down. Kitchen floor was filthy especially around the bin area. Broken flag outside and my 7year old tripped and fell over it.

Lovely location and cabin

booked Seiriol cabin for Tuesday 21st Jan. I emailed prior to the stay to ensure the hot tub was electric and going to be hot on arrival (hence booking this cabin instead of the pods with log fire hot tubs). However, on our arrival at 4pm the hot tub was off, the cover wasn’t on and the water was freezing, it was also quite dirty inside the hot tub and grime along the rim of the water. I switched the hot tub on as soon as we got there and by 11pm it was still only 26 degrees, so we gave up. Very disappointed seeing as the selling point is the hottub, and we would not have booked knowing that we couldn’t of used it. I am not usually one to complain, however, seeing as I had emailed prior to the trip to ensure the hot tub was hot and to arrive to it not even on is extremely disappointing to say the least. It is a beautiful site and the cabin was lovely and we would’ve loved to stay again had there been no issues. But I do not believe it is worth the money without the hot tub. I emailed again about the hottub not being on and have still not had a reply.

The lodge itself is nice but needs a lot of work doing to it

We had BIG Rats running past when we was in the hot tub first night safe to say we didn't use it again the Bed was awful mine and mrs's back feels like it's broken previous Love stains all over the mattress the mattress is a cheap nasty one that Everytime you move the springs clatter and bang together the Sofa bed is also extremely uncomfortable and dips into the middle the cushions come of all the time revealing all the metal work to the bed the cooker is a guessing game as all dials are blank cobwebs and spiders in the three lights in living area plus lots of other places. We also had exceptionally noisy neighbors partying and screaming till gone 1.30am the lodge itself is stunning

The location was lovely with horses and sheep that reside next door. The hot tub was really nice in the front of the house.

There was a hot tub but no towels for it. There was only a quarter of a toilet paper roll. The house is in the country so we understand that there can be bugs. We have a cabin so we're versed in bugs. Unfortunately there were more bugs than what we find normal. While we were aware from the house, we had an invasion of flying large 'ants'. The same type that had stung our daughter a couple of weeks before this trip. We requested a vacuum but unfortunately the management company didn't come out to deal with it.

Nice Cabin, good to have the Log burner and of course the Hot Tub Peaceful surroundings. Shame Hot Tub not undercover or shielded in wind, took our own Canopy with sides so worked out okay.

Lack of bedding supplied Disappointing that Hot Tub was cold and unusable the first night out of 2. Lack of communication from host after calling numerous times and ignored, requested extra bedding but not received as apparently no staff available.

We had such a relaxing night staying in Seiriol Lodge, the staff were absolutely great nothing was too much trouble. The hot tub and outdoor fire was a great addition to our quiet night away where we could chill with our children, its pet friendly to so we’re about to take our dog, didn’t feel overlooked, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, already looking to go back!
