Isara Lanta Beach Resort

Food provided on location was exceptional. The owner, Robert, had some delicious cuisine waiting for us when we arrived. I've been to the island several times now and this is by far one of the better experiences I've had. Very comfortable bungalow, amazing mattress, cleaned every day, beach is 10 second walk from door. Exceptional value for service. Highly recommend. Muay Thai gym just across the street, 7/11 nearby, great restaurants, friendly people. 10/10

Very small room, old room, big spider in toilet cause the can crawl in easy. Price / Quality is wrong. Found much better for less and stayed there 5 weeks. Maybe the standard rooms are okay for price, but the Deluxe room isn't much more luxurious. The owner responded i see. The owner should know that you only can place reviews on booking, when you booked there... I know i stayed here. Cause i stayed 5 weeks at a better resort 100 meters further. I also attached the picture from the toilet this time. I was happy we only reserved 3 days, after discovering this spider in the toilet my Girlfriend didn't want to stay any longer.

Good location Lovely staff Affordability

Very lovely staff, really enjoyed chilling on the beachside loungers all day long, the food was delicious (try the pad see ew - it is amazing). Rooms are very clean and love that you have a fridge and a little terrace. Very well located near restaurants, bars, shops but still quiet. Sunset views are amazing. Very nice, relaxed vibe.

The only thing we found a bit unusual is that cleaning service would come in between 9-10 am, sometimes we were still sleeping or showering. If you are sensitive towards AC, there is no fan to substitute it for.

This was a nice little hotel that met our needs during our stay on Lanta. The owner, Penny, was very friendly and helpful with laundry and motorbike rental. We requested a double bed room and instead had 2 twin beds, which were not the most comfortable. I think the resort was full for our days booked. Each bungalow had air conditioning, which worked quite well, and screens on the main windows. One recommendation would be to put screens on the cinderblock windows in the bathrooms because mosquitoes could fly in easily if the bathroom door was left open. Also, our shower head holder was broken so it was exclusively hand-held. The property was well-kept with adorable and friendly cats who we enjoyed playing with. It was also quiet from both beach and street noise. The staff cleaned our room thoroughly each day and mopped the floors. The common area had nice cabanas, tables, and bean bags to lounge and was a relaxing and comfortable environment.

I had a great stay here. It was very nice accommodation for the money I paid. I enjoyed this very basic, yet comfortable and clean bungalow with a hammock in front.

Lovely tropical garden, amazing beachfront bar and terrace. Bungalows in good shape, Robert is the owner and he takes care of everything very good. The kitchen is spot on! We tried a few restaurants but we always came back to Isara…by far the best!
