Blue Lake hostel

Kind, open and very helpful staff - that is something, that this hostel distinguishes from others. Nice common areas, where people interact with each others. Great location, near the promenade, shops and bars. Clean and nice.

Sometimes in the peak hours there was no hot water.

Staff were extremely friendly and happy to offer help and recommendations for things to do in Ohrid. In a great location just 3mins from the lake, and excellent value for money. A large common room and balcony area made socialising with other guests super-easy

It’s a nice place to go as a solo traveller backpacker. A 15min walk from the center but only about 6min to the lake so it’s a win. And for the price is a great place.

Stayed at Hostel Blue Lake for two nights, and it was one of my best hostel experiences. Hostel was super lovely and clean, and the wonderful hosts provided the best service. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone who is travelling solo or with friends to Ohrid.

Friendly, nice common area, very welcoming and clean. Good location near lake and with a nice restaurant nearby that has nightly music.

Everything was good.

It still feels like an old school hostel. Super friendly staff, a bit chaotic, but full of charm. We wish we could chave stayed longer.
