The view, the location, the staff...all aspects were more than what I expected.

The coffee pot was too big for 1 or two people. Not enough outlets near the bed. The outlet strip in 201 wasn't connected and it was too difficult to plug it into the wall.

For us, the location was unbeatable and we thought the room decor was well done.

Unfortunately our room was not ready for the advertised time of 4:00pm. The day before our stay, the staff contacted us saying that the housekeeping staff was going to have a busy day and asked what time we planned to arrive so they could prioritize cleaning to ensure all guests could check in at 4. I did tell them we estimated an arrival around 6, but we ended up ahead of schedule and arrived around 2:45pm. We saw that our room was still being cleaned at this time, which was completely fine since they said they could not guarantee early check-in that day, but when we came back later after 4pm our room was still being cleaned. I reached out to the office and did not receive a reply until 7:30pm, which only added to the frustration. We had dinner reservations for my mom's birthday and spent the day hiking, so it wasn't ideal not hearing back from the office until 7:30pm. In hindsight, I should have updated the staff of our earlier arrival, but since they said the room would still be ready at the advertised time, I didn't. We felt that we should have been offered some kind of compensation for not hearing back from the office until 3.5 hours after check-in time. Overall, the lack of communication and disregard for the stated check-in policy left a negative impression, and I would hesitate to book here again.

"Comfortable and close to everything."

Great location. Loved the view from the room. Comfortable bed.

Faint smoke smell. Could hear people walking above us, but not a huge issue since there was never noise when we were sleeping.
