Sunny Garden Riverside Hotel Ninh Binh

Really nice stay; very clean, gym is great, pool is huge. Air con works well, staff is friendly.

As everyone mentions, its a bit far away from anything- a skooter is a necessity. Because theres no convenience stores nearby, a fridge in the room would be nice.

The only good thing is the free gym (but its really hot inside, no air con)

- Not even full clean (not empty bin, no blanket, not good smell, food in frigde) - Not good service (no hot water until almost 24 hours, tv controller without batteries, noisy air con) - Big swimming pool but actually it is a school swimming pool (kids learning with teachers almost the entire day, so was busy and noisy, zero calm or peace) - Very poor brekky ( they asked what we wanted, no answer back then they cooked what they wanted: plain bread with 4 eggs, 2 bananas and 2 water, not even coffee) - Motos for rental over priced and so bad quality (we had to change the moto because seemed to fall apart, the other motorbike didnt start if it was parked in the sun.) P.S: If you come here, learn to say no or you will get over charged.

The breakfast was good for what it was. We had nice fried eggs, bread and some fruit. The gym and swimming pool were good. The water in the shower was really hot. The bedding was clean.

The wardrobe was broken, there were ants and cockroaches in the apartment on different occasions so we bought bug killer. There were lots of mosquitoes in the gym and no air con in the gym! The bungalow wasn’t very clean. The bed wasn’t very comfortable.

Room felt damp and there were lots of mosquitoes inside the room. Minimal hot water

It was just a quick overnight stay for us whilst in transit. We had a cool little village house for the 3 of us, equipped with a clean bathroom, sofa and a good Tv. We made use of the pool and the gym. The staff were present and mostly helpful. We had breakfast there and it was pretty good.

I got the feeling that we were a little out of season as the pool didn't seem totally clean and there looked to be some minor repairs that needed to be done, but it didn't ruin our experience.

The staff were extremely attentive and sorted us with anything we needed! The accommodation was spacious and clean and the use of the gym was great.

It is a little out from the main busy areas however if you don’t mind renting a scooter the distance isn’t an issue.
