My Happy Hounds Glamping

Wow!!! After seeing a TikTok video about this dog-friendly staycation spot, we knew we had to book it! My husband and I travelled here for a birthday getaway for me with our Border Collie, Bailey, and had the most relaxing stay for a few days. We enjoyed the quiet, going for lovely local walks and switching off. Harry, Alison (&Nellie!!) have obviously put a lot of time, care and thought into creating My Happy Hounds. Harry was so thoughtful in checking in to let us know that there was grass cutting due on one of the days that we were there and wanted to make sure this wouldn’t upset Bailey or that he wasn’t sensitive to it - and even offered to reschedule (which wasn’t necessary but what a lovely offer!!). The pod (we stayed in Woody!) was immaculate, clean, fully kitted out, comfortable and when we arrived there was even a birthday surprise waiting (balloons, a card, chocolate and prosecco!!!) thank you all for such a lovely break - we will no doubt be back very soon!

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Exceptional stay, couldn't fault anything, small touches and little details went along way, we traveled without fur babies - it was very quiet and peaceful. We had the BEST stay and have already booked to come back.

Everything. Had a fantastic stay . It was amazing booking straight back up to go again . My dogs loved it . Was so peaceful and Richmond is it far away .

Nothing everything was great

We honestly can't fault a thing, everything you need and we were lucky enough to have lovely weather. We loved our stay and I've already told many friends about this amazing place. Our fur babies had an absolute blast at the secure fields, perfect for a mix of ages and abilities. The little extras that are in the pods are great, we've never been anywhere that's left such a lovely food hamper and fridge items.

Absolutely nothing

We liked the privacy of being able to close the gate behind you, knowing our dog was safe in the surroundings. The pod was exceptionally good, really clean with a hoover and mood lighting. The hosts were brilliant quite new at what they were doing but couldn't do enough to help they made our stay there fantastic as they got us balloons and cards as it was our 25th wedding anniversary and our pup's 3rd birthday overall a great couple of days away and would highly recommend to anyone with dogs even sensitive ones as its ideal all the best for the future and we will definitely return hopefully soon
