My Happy Hounds Glamping

This stay exceeded our expectations and the pictures do not do it justice. From start to finish the team were amazing, quick to answer questions and to check everything was ok. On the second day there was reports of a dog on the main road outside and Harry text us to make sure our girls were safe and accounted for. We decided while we were there to see if we could get a last minute training session with one of the dog trainers and Harry managed to arrange this for the last day. Fran gave us some great tips to counteract the couple of issues we have while at the same time reassuring us we were doing well with what we are doing. The pod was extremely comfortable and very clean, it felt like we were in our own little world and the secure garden was great. I didn’t feel like I had to keep an eye on the girls constantly and they settled in very quickly, normally when we visit family our terrier is off of her food for days but she settled in instantly. The paddocks were also great, we book into one everyday except the day we left, normally I don’t like to let them off the lead in places they do not know in case they get spooked and run but I had no hesitation here. Huge fully secure paddocks with loads of different areas for them to explore and run around in. All in all it was a fantastic little break away and we will consider booking in again. Stayed 2 nights, and I loved it was all enclosed for the dog. Nice having a hamper with milk bread cookies, dog treats and more. Loved that it had tin foil washing up liquid shower gell ect so we didn't have to bring our own . We'll equipped kitchen with full oven. Very clean throughout the pod, comfortable bed will definitely return.

Can't think of one thing we did not like . 5☆

Absolutely wonderful place to stay, yes it is advertised for doggy holidays but we don't have a dog and used it as a base whilst we went to Croft racing circuit which was about 3 mile up the road so was absolutely ideal. If I was a dog owner I would definitely find this place appealing they have put a lot of effort and thought into the place, the high fenced private garden is brilliant and looking around the place little things like having a dustbin outside instead of a bin inside where your dog may like to adventure into showed they had put thought into it. Also separate dog waste bin outside. The little hamper of milk, eggs, bread and cereal was a bonus

It was a perfect location for our stay and the added extras with bread milk jam etc was great. On the whole a lovely place to stay

Nothing really to dislike

Loved the privacy and knowing that both our dogs can come and go in the cabin and garden as they please. Harry was very quick to alert me and amend an incorrect paddock booking I did, and the paddocks are absolutely fantastic. Both dogs loved it.

Very well stocked self catering pod, very comfy, loads of room, massive enclosed garden, so perfect for our two dogs and us!! There's bedding, towels, shower gel, toilet roll, a hamper with bread jam biscuits and crisps, eggs, milk in the fridge, tea, coffee, a cafetiere, all the cooking equipment you could need. A full size fridge with freezer compartment, a full size oven, a microwave, toaster. At night you can have the chimnea going, they've included logs and firelighters. You can have a big bbq, they've included coal. The lighting in the pod at night is very fun with coloured leds all along the ceiling! The dog agility course next door is free to use and they have classes on at the weekend that we could have joined in with too. It's really like staying in a hotel but you can do your own cooking and coming and going, you get the best of both worlds, and you only really need to bring your clothes, food and dogs! We want to live here 💕💕💕

The noise from the race circuit on Saturday was quite loud, interrupted the quiet but not enough to put us off returning soon...
