The Briers Country House

Location was excellent for visiting Newcastle and also for mountain biking and walking

We weren’t met and greeted- not even a message to check if all was ok. We only saw owner when we were walking out the door. There was no information in our room (the information folder referred to was missing) and we had to fend for ourselves at breakfast although the owner’s son who was very young was walking in and out but didn’t engage in conversation. The floor to the shower felt greasy but otherwise the room was very clean and the bed reasonably comfortable albeit a bit too soft for us. It was good value for money though.

Very nice fresh fruit and breads, well presented, clean and comfortable place to eat. Staff were helpful and friendly.

No complaints what so ever.

I definitely recommend this accommodation. Rita, the hostess, was lovely. She lit the sauna for us at the end of Slieve Donard hike ! The house was very clean and the breakfast so delicious.

Hi  Myself & My Partner had a fantastic stay. At your place. We arrived got our key straight away. The Room was lovely spotless. On our way out we  met the   lovely lady/Host  so sorry we forget the lady's Name. We were made feel so welcome. This Morning  we went down for Breakfast . Met same lady/Host.  It was like we had stayed there before. Breakfast was fabulous. We enjoyed it..then we took a walk around the grounds. Definitely  would be recommending  your B&B  Thank you for making us feel so welcome. Kind Regards  Carol & Gary
